DeFuser is the world’s first pepper spray that can’t be used against you. DeFuser’s design becomes automatically de activated if an attacker gains possession of the spray, making it almost impossible for an attacker to turn your own pepper spray against you. DeFuser has an internal disable feature that mechanically disarms the spray by automatically locking the actuator upon separation of the keys or lanyard so it can’t be used against you.
In addition to the deactivation of the spray, the keys will stay attached to the user’s wrist. This allows the victim to escape to safety while rendering the pepper spray useless to the attacker. With standard mace and pepper spray the keys are permanently attached to the unit and if an attacker takes away your protection device, they also end up with your keys and maybe even your car! No other pepper spray offers such protection.
